Unleashed

This blog post coming up 18 days late, it's a song made for an epic new year! And well, for everything else that requires adrenaline-pumping action music.

It's been a rough year all around for me, and I reckon the next one is going to provide even more challenges than before (and changes, oh god the changes). Setting my sights much further, I'm hoping this will be the last music video that isn't 100% my work. Talking about the art, of course. While I would love to show off more awesome pictures by amazing artists, I am tired of relying on other people, in more ways than one.

It doesn't mean I won't cooperate with anyone on anything, it means that it's time for me to become something more than a musician (or a producer, if you will). After all, it hasn't been just music that I've wanted to always be making but animation, games and movies. So, wish me good luck on that and have a good time listening to this!

Lair of the Crimson Death

So, I was watching Spoony's Counter Monkey episode called "Circle Strafe" one day. And I totally agree, dragons in games are total pussies nowadays. I easily plastered through the High Dragon in DA:O, not to even talk about Skyrim, practicing dragon extermination like it's a garbage cleaning business.

And thus, after a two and a half month break the inspiration hit me like a sledgehammer and I went on to make a song. And as is my traditional custom, compiled a motion comic-style music video for it.

Homefront

No - not that game.

I've been having a little break from orchestral music altogether, so after a two week-long writer's block this is what happened. Some rather basic scifi-esque soundtrack stuff for nothing in particular. Now with multiple great illustrations by great artists shoddily edited together by me!

Got around updating this a little late, but here's something new for the blog.

Went about doing some quick film soundtrack interpretation of this picture by Atomhawk Design Ltd. Could've done a better job overall, but it was a 5-6 hour spurt at the middle of the night so I'm pretty happy with it.

Separate Truth From Lies

So I decided to make a music video blog for all the releases. Helps keep the archive a little more tidy.

Been having some over-the-top interest in science fiction lately, with all the playing of Deus Ex: Human Revolution and watching Blade Runner for probably the sixth time.
